Assistance with Completing the FAFSA Online Application

This application must be completed in order for students to receive TN Hope, TN Promise, and any other Federal and state grant or scholarship.

The FAFSA will open up for the 2018-2019 year on October 1, 2017. Anyone interested is welcome to contact me for an appointment, which will likely take about 1 hour (possibly less).

A parent and the student need to attend the appointment due to paperwork that must be signed, as well as the process involved in setting up an FSA ID and Password. Tax returns and W-2’s (if filed) for both the parent(s) and the student for the 2016 Tax year should be brought to the appointment. Hopefully, the IRS Tax Retrieval Tool will be working; however, W-2’s are still needed if a joint return was filed. I stress that confidentially is taken very seriously by our office.
